On The Job

Woohoo! I’m so glad you chose to participate in LifeChurch.tv Sisters this week!

I’m believing that you’ll be inspired and built up each and every week by our stories!

Today, I want you to hear from Rachel Cobb. I love this on-fire, Jesus chick!

Instead of making excuses about not being around many unbelievers, Rachel lives prepared and intentional, on and off “the job.”

To me, this verse sums up Rachel’s story.

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 1Peter 3:15

Sisters Weekly Challenge

Jesus told us, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields. Luke 10:2

Sister, I am praying that you are an answer to my prayers!

You see, I am asking God to send you as His on-the-job heavenly agent.

Your challenge:

Be aware of the needs around you in your work environment!

Be praying continually. Pray before, during and after interactions.

Be available to listen and give words of truth and life with your colleagues, clients, guests, contractors, and even the couriers.

Be bold. Jesus sends us out with this reminder: Now go, and remember that I am sending you out as lambs among wolves. Luke 10:3

How utterly amazing that Jesus would send us (the vulnerable lamb) into a ravenously scary environment (a wolf pack)? But He is our mighty Shepherd! So take heart. Be strong and courageous. God is with you!
