What is God’s will?

By Cindy Beall

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

Rejoice always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks.

What is God’s will?

Rejoice always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks.

What if we quit looking for a particular path in our lives or a specific person to meet our needs and just focused on these three things?

Rejoice always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks.

Imagine how different our 1,440 minutes would be each day if, instead of complaining, griping and whining, you and I chose to rejoice. If instead of spending hours on social media or watching TV, we chose to pray and communicate with our Heavenly Father. If instead of wanting and wishing for things we don’t have, we chose to give thanks for the blessings, the good things He has already given.

It is a choice.

Will you choose to…

Rejoice always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your path and to help you focus on these three things today.

Thank you for this timely word. God has been stirring this up in my heart all morning and then this was in my inbox for confirmation.
